DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: 5 p.m. on the first business day of June each year.
Eligibility: Exhibits are open to Boulder Arts Resource members only. Membership is free. Due to technical difficulties, the member profiles are not currently available on the Arts Resource website. All application forms are available at the bottom of this page.
Length of Exhibition: Shows are 2 months and run July/August, September/October, November/December, January/February, March/April and May/June.
Space: The two corridor walls on the south side of the Canyon Theater outside the Arts Resource Office. The walls are approximately 21 running feet each. Small pedestals and wall shelves may be used as long as they do not interfere with traffic flow. These may be available from the Library.
Installation: Artists are responsible for installation of artwork & deinstallation including spackling holes in the walls.
Insurance: Work is insured on the premises of the Boulder Public Library once the proper paperwork is filled out. Exhibition agreement must be filled out before installation of artwork.
Jurying: The same panel that juries the Canyon Gallery Exhibitions for the Boulder Public Library will select the work to be shown by Boulder Arts Resource Presents…
Sales: The Boulder Arts Resource is not a selling agent, nor does it take any commission. Any purchases of artwork must be contracted directly between the artist and buyer.
Publicity: The Boulder Arts Resource reserves the right to use images from the exhibit for promotion purposes. Exhibits will be listed on the Boulder Public Library & Arts Resource Calendar. The artists may also publicize the exhibit in any appropriate manner.
The Boulder Public Library has the final say on what work may be exhibited at the library.
